10. Google Maps

Our website uses the Google Maps service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google") to display our location.

When you access a page containing Google Maps, a connection is established with Google's servers. Personal data (in particular your IP address and location data) may be transmitted to Google. This data may also be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the United States.

11. Embedded Content

Our website may include embedded content from other websites (e.g. videos, images, maps). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you had visited those websites directly. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

12. Social Media Privacy

La Carmen maintains an online presence on the social network Instagram (profile: @la_car_men_valencia) in order to inform about our offers, events, and news, and to interact with interested visitors.

12.1 Joint Controllership

When you visit our Instagram profile, personal data is processed. For certain processing operations -- in particular the collection of usage statistics (known as "Insights") -- there is joint controllership pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR between La Carmen and:

Meta provides us, as page operators, with anonymised statistics about the use of our profile. We have no influence on data processing by Meta beyond this.

12.2 Data Processed

When you visit our Instagram profile or interact with us (e.g. comments, likes, direct messages), the following data may be processed:

• Comments and reactions to our posts
• Content of direct messages you send to us
• Usage statistics and interaction data (Insights)

12.3 Purpose and Legal Basis

Where you have given Meta consent to data processing, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Meta Platforms may transfer data to the United States and other third countries. Please note that these countries may not guarantee a level of data protection equivalent to European standards. There is a risk that authorities may access your data without effective legal remedies being available to you.
